Service Care is recruiting a Data Protection and Compliance Officer for a housing organisation. Based mostly remotely in Greater London with occasional travel to the office, you will manage Subject Access Requests and support the compliance team with data protection duties.

The role requires a strong understanding of data protection requirements, ability to meet statutory deadlines, and proactive stakeholder engagement to ensure accurate logging and handling of data requests.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in data protection.
• Experience handling Subject Access Requests.
• Understanding of statutory deadlines and data protection law.

Aufgaben

• Manage and respond to Subject Access Requests within statutory deadlines.
• Collate information and data from across the organisation.
• Maintain records of data protection breaches and requests.
• Support the Compliance team with records and documentation.
• Record probity matters including declarations of interest and gifts.
• Track requests to ensure progress and completion.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
• Perform additional compliance and administrative tasks as required.
