Job summary

Sanderson Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking a Data Lead to drive a major transformation initiative, modernising core platforms built on Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft Fabric. You will steer the delivery of a new enterprise data platform and define the data workstream strategy to deliver measurable business value.

The role is highly visible, largely remote with one day a week in London, and requires collaboration across UK and US stakeholders to align

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading enterprise-scale data platform programmes from inception through to delivery.
• Strong experience in large business transformation programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of modern cloud data platforms and data operating models.
• Experience delivering within Microsoft technology environments, including Azure.
• Desirable: experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Desirable: exposure to Dynamics 365 transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a large-scale enterprise data platform implementation.
• Define and drive our data workstream strategy, roadmap, and governance.
• Support our programme transition to an MVP-led delivery approach, ensuring focus on business value and measurable outcomes.
• Review and help shape our future operating model, benefits realisation, and target-state data capabilities.
• Work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders across the UK and US.
• Manage dependencies across wider transformation initiatives, including Dynamics 365 and Azure.
