Arden University is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to shape and evolve our data platform, including the data lake and medallion architecture, to improve student outcomes and operational efficiency. This hands-on role focuses on platform engineering, architecture and continuous improvement across a cloud-first data stack.

You will work within the Data Platform squad, leveraging technologies such as Synapse, Fabric and Databricks, to enable analysts, data scientists and engineers to extract

Formación

• Experience with Microsoft Synapse/Fabric/Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
• Programming in Python, R or SQL.
• Solid SQL and NoSQL database design knowledge.
• Knowledge of data engineering principles and ETL design.
• Familiarity with Data Factory, Airflow or similar.
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices and Git.
• Excellent communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven delivery of business value through data and analytics.
