Colibri Digital is seeking a Graduate Data Engineer to join its growing Data Engineering Practice. This entry‑level role offers a structured development programme with formal training, mentoring and hands‑on engineering experience.

You’ll learn SQL, Python, Git, Databricks, Azure and modern cloud data engineering while contributing to internal and customer projects. Initially you’ll own internal initiatives and documentation, then collaborate with experienced consultants on customer work.

Qualifications

• Degree (or expected) in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or related STEM field.
• Approximately 6–12 months' practical experience through placement year, internship or graduate programme.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Python; strong analytical skills and communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal reporting solutions to support decisions.
• Build and improve reusable engineering frameworks, templates and accelerators.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and engineering guidance.
• Support development of internal tooling to improve delivery quality.
• Learn data engineering best practices via mentoring and structured training.
• Collaborate with senior Data Engineers on cloud data platforms and modern techniques.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing; shadow customer engagements.
• Gradually contribute to customer delivery as capability grows.
• Expand knowledge across Cloud, Data and AI technologies.
