Job summary

SES Business Water is seeking a Data Engineer to join its growing Data & Analytics team. You will design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines, transforming data into actionable insights and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

The role requires strong SQL and Python skills, experience with end-to-end data solutions, and the ability to work with structured and semi-structured data. A hybrid working model is offered across the UK.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Experience delivering end-to-end data engineering solutions.
• Experience with structured and semi-structured datasets.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
• Working with multiple data sources to unlock insights.
• Translating business requirements into robust data solutions and architectures.
• Collaborating with analytics teams to ensure data products are accurate and reliable.
• Maintaining and enhancing reporting infrastructure (Access and Azure-based).
• Creating documentation to clarify data structures and processes.
• Supporting improvements in data quality, accessibility, governance and reliability.
