Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Data Analyst, Product to join our team remotely. The goal is to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that improve user experience and support new features for the Pro product team.

You will own end-to-end data management from pipelines and dbt models to dashboards and metric frameworks, defining north star metrics, driving experimentation, and translating results into product recommendations. We value AI-driven workflows and business partnership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data analytics or analytics engineering in fintech/payments/crypto environments.
• Hands-on experience with production data pipelines and dbt and Airflow or equivalent tools.
• Mastery of SQL including complex joins, CTEs and analytic functions, plus Python for pipeline development and analysis.
• Experience designing and running A/B tests with causal inference and growth-focused recommendations.
• Led cross-functional data initiatives from design to delivery with measurable business outcomes.
• Strong communication skills to simplify data ideas for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Degree in analytical field (software engineering, economics or hard science).
• Based in Canada, the US, the UK or the EU and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data analysis within the Pro team, collaborating across the pod.
• Design and evolve dashboards, north star metrics and analytical frameworks for executive decision-making.
• Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure and production pipelines.
• Lead experimentation across the Product domain with A/B testing and causal inference.
• Translate results into clear product recommendations to influence strategy.
• Embed AI tooling into workflows, including LLM-augmented pipelines and GenAI analytics.
