Job summary

TRIA Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Control Engineer for a home-based role. The position offers a circa £75,000 salary, car allowance, bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including pension and health cash plan.

You will contribute to safe operation of LV/HV networks, coordinate restoration and switching activities, and liaise with contractors and stakeholders to ensure compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Holds Senior Authorised Person (SAP) authorisation and practical SAP experience.
• Experience working on 11kV electricity networks.
• Experience with supply restoration and coordinating operational activities.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety rules and safety documentation.
• Confident communicator with internal and external stakeholders.
• Organised and methodical, able to take operational decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support safe and efficient operation of LV and HV networks.
• Coordinate network operations including supply restoration, switching and fault response.
• Work with contractors, ICPs and developers to meet operational needs.
• Oversee activities and ensure safety procedures and documentation are in place.
• Maintain operational records, logs and safety documentation.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of procedures and rules.
• Monitor network configuration and drawings for effective management.
• Provide guidance and training support to operational teams.
