Job summary

Software Placements is assisting a leading multinational semiconductor telecom company in Farnborough, Hampshire, England, to hire a Contract Senior Analog/RFIC Design Engineer for a 6–12 month daily-rate engagement. This role focuses on verification of Rx/Tx chains in pre-silicon simulations.

You will set up and debug testbenches, ensure compliance to specs, and collaborate with the chip lead on integration. 100% remote work is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Recent RF IC design experience in CMOS is mandatory.
• AMS simulator experience and Cadence simulator experience are mandatory.
• Strong ability to debug test benches and verify RF performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Verify Rx/Tx chains from RF LNA inputs to analogue IF outputs in TSMC 22 ULL.
• Set up and debug simulation testbenches and report compliance to specs.
• Pre-silicon verification work across Rx/Tx chains.
• Use Cadence ADE XL/Maestro and Spectre HB simulators for simulations.
• Maintain knowledge of RF design, CMOS, and AMS simulators for validation.
• Debug test benches and assist integration with chip lead.
