Job summary

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust is seeking an experienced Conservation Projects Manager for a maternity cover role in South East England. The role leads delivery of conservation projects, manages budgets and milestones, and collaborates with staff, consultants and volunteers across multiple sites.

This fixed-term, full-time post is 35 hours per week, based from home, with potential overtime and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experienced conservation professional with strong project, people and budget management skills.
• Able to manage competing priorities across multiple projects and partners.
• Strong communication skills and ability to inspire colleagues, volunteers and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of conservation projects across South East England, overseeing activities, budgets, milestones and reporting.
• Line manage staff, consultants and volunteers.
• Maintain relationships with funders, statutory agencies, local authorities, NGOs, landowners and partners.
• Raise awareness of the projects and the Trust.
