Job summary

Webrecruit is seeking a Community Organisation Development Manager to strengthen and support community organisations across the West Midlands. The role combines developing tailored consultancy services with strategic income growth and partnership work, including bidding and tendering.

You will manage delivery teams, engage with local authorities and partners, and help organisations become more sustainable while offering flexible, home-based working with occasional meetings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering consultancy services or similar strategic support programmes.
• Demonstrable experience winning contracts, securing funding bids, and developing income-generating opportunities.
• Strong track record of business development, strategic management and successful project delivery.
• Experience building effective delivery partnerships.
• Experience overseeing high‑quality support to community organisations and managing teams to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen and support community organisations across the West Midlands.
• Develop and deliver tailored support services and consultancy programmes with partners.
• Identify business development opportunities, lead bids and tenders, build strategic relationships to generate income.
• Promote services and achieve agreed income targets; support and develop delivery teams and associates.
