Job summary

Flex is seeking a Commercial Analyst in England to support contract formation from pre‑award to agreement and execution. You will work with Tax, Legal, Sales and Project Management to optimize contracts and manage commercial risks.

The role involves reviewing and finalizing contracts, pricing analyses, and SLA terms while ensuring compliance and commercial viability within a dynamic, multi‑national team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Commercial Management, or related field
• Experience in contract management, commercial management, legal support, procurement, or related discipline
• Strong understanding of contract negotiation principles, contractual risk management, and commercial terms and conditions
• Experience reviewing and interpreting complex commercial agreements and customer contracts
• Strong stakeholder management across multidisciplinary and international teams
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, negotiation, and communication skills
• Experience with ERP systems or contract management tools is advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Review, mark up, negotiate, and finalize customer contracts, purchase orders, MSAs, and statements of work
• Collaborate with Tax, Legal, Sales, Project Management and other stakeholders to optimize contract structures
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks, liabilities and unfavorable terms
• Review pricing analyses, scopes of work, billing procedures and milestone schedules
• Support contract administration activities, including bonds, guarantees and ERP updates
• Advise project teams on contractual obligations and change management
• Draft and issue contractual notices and support dispute resolution
• Drive contract standardization and KPI-based assessment tools
