Job summary

Axiom is seeking Commercial Banking Lawyers to support clients across financial services, banking, corporate, real estate and other sectors on domestic and international finance matters.

You will draft, review and negotiate facility agreements, security documents and related transaction documents, and advise on transaction structures, risk and commercial considerations, collaborating with deal teams throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK with relevant commercial banking or related finance experience.
• Experience in commercial lending, debt finance, trade finance, real estate finance or securitisation.
• Strong drafting, review and negotiation experience across finance, lending, security or related transaction documentation.
• Excellent commercial awareness, communication, stakeholder-management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice on banking and related finance matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate finance documentation including facility agreements, security documents and intercreditor arrangements.
• Advise clients on transaction structures, risk and commercial considerations.
• Collaborate with lawyers, finance, treasury, risk and deal teams to support transactions through their lifecycle.
