Job summary

Axiom is seeking General Lending Lawyers to support clients across financial services, corporate, real estate, infrastructure, and other sectors on a broad range of lending and debt finance matters, including secured lending and refinancing.

You will draft, review, and negotiate loan, facility, and security documents; advise lenders, borrowers, and treasury teams; and work with deal teams to deliver pragmatic, business‑focused advice throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK or equivalent overseas qualification with strong lending experience.
• Experience advising on general lending, including secured/bilateral/syndicated facilities and cross-border lending.
• Strong drafting and negotiation across loan/facility agreements and security packages.
• Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management in fast-paced transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical legal advice on general lending transactions, including secured, bilateral, syndicated facilities, and cross-border lending.
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, facility agreements, security documents, and related documents.
• Advise lenders, borrowers, and treasury teams on structures, risk, and commercial considerations.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to support domestic and international lending transactions.
