Job summary

ControlPlane is a London-headquartered consultancy delivering cloud-native, Kubernetes, and open source security solutions. We support organisations with secure-by-design/cloud-native architectures, threat modelling, and platform engineering to protect complex environments.

We seek cloud native security consultants who can lead clients, work on internal labs, and contribute to Open Source projects for ControlPlane’s benefit. Training and a collaborative culture are core to our team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Threat Modelling and Cloud Native Security architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Kubernetes and container experience (EKS, GKE, AKS, OpenShift)
• Knowledge of software supply chain security
• DevSecOps principles and engineering practices
• CI/CD experience, automating security tests, and hardening pipelines
• Experience with security tooling (Aqua, Prisma, Sysdig, Lacework; Falco, kube-hunter, kube-bench)
• Knowledge of hardening guides, compliance and risk management standards
• Willingness to learn new cloud technologies and tools

Responsibilities

• Perform client consulting and work on internal labs projects
• Contribute to Open Source projects on ControlPlane’s behalf
• Represent technical and cultural values to customers
• Collaborate with diverse teams to extend cloud native security capabilities
