Job summary

NEC Software Solutions is seeking a Technical Architect to design and deliver robust, scalable, and secure architectures across corporate platforms and customer solutions. You will work closely with delivery teams, translating requirements into high‑quality architectures that can be built, operated and supported with confidence.

This hands‑on role involves collaboration with security architects and governance, while staying engaged in delivery to ensure long‑term sustainability and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience producing technical architecture designs.
• Strong understanding of compute, networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience in UK public sector with Azure/AWS/OCI highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical architecture designs for corporate platforms and customer solutions.
• Evaluate architecture options, balancing functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to support implementation and knowledge transfer.
• Participate in architecture peer reviews to maintain design quality.
• Present designs to the Technical Assurance Board and support assurance discussions.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and investigate new technologies.
