Job summary

Cambridge University Press & Assessment is seeking experienced Software Engineers to help build ELiT's AI-driven language learning and assessment tools. You’ll develop services, SPAs, data pipelines and analytics, write well-tested code, and manage AWS infrastructure with CI/CD in a DevOps context.

You'll collaborate with Cambridge researchers, work in a flexible, remote-enabled team, and contribute to technology that supports learners worldwide.

Qualifications

• Commercial software engineering experience.
• Experience with functional programming languages.
• Willingness to learn and help English language learners worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop ELiT's system of services, SPAs, data warehouse and analytics pipeline.
• Write high-quality, tested and documented code.
• Provision AWS infrastructure and deploy services in production with CI/CD in a DevOps setup.
• Collaborate in an inclusive agile environment and improve processes.
• Collaborate with Cambridge researchers to leverage NLP and ML research for data/tools.
