Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust in Islington is recruiting a 0.5 WTE Permanent Clinical Coordinator / Counselling Lead to join the Talking Therapies service. The post focuses on coordinating the Long Term Conditions pathway and supervising designated staff, delivering high-quality psychological care within LTC pathways.

You will supervise junior colleagues, provide training to colleagues, and help shape the service in partnership with service users, with a strong emphasis on equality,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering psychological therapies to adults with long-term health conditions.
• Experience in primary care/ talking therapies settings.
• Line management experience or supervising staff.
• Experience with high-intensity therapies (CBT/EMDR/ IPT) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Long Term Conditions pathway.
• Line-manage designated staff within the service.
• Provide supervision and training to junior colleagues.
• Contribute to shaping and developing the Talking Therapies service in partnership with service users.
• Engage with equality, diversity & inclusion initiatives across the service.
