Job summary

Language Empire is recruiting freelance Chinese Mandarin interpreters and translators based in Sheffield to support NHS, Local Authorities, Police, and other organisations across the UK.

Flexible hours and competitive rates are offered in a self-employed role with ongoing support from our in-house team. Candidates should have right to work in the UK and relevant qualifications or experience.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin required.
• Public service interpreting experience preferred.
• Self-employed freelance position in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Interpret for legal, health, and local government services.
• Provide consecutive, conference, and public service interpreting.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all assignments.
