Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Chemistry Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) to design and evaluate rigorous chemistry problems that test AI reasoning. You will craft step-by-step solutions and assess AI outputs for accuracy across organic synthesis, biochemistry, and related domains.

This role is remote and involves collaborating with top research teams on benchmark creation. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a chemistry-related field, demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or closely related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities across advanced chemistry domains.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly in writing.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging chemistry problems to test AI capabilities across domains including chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physical chemistry.
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise scientific reasoning.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, reasoning quality, and depth.
• Collaborate with researchers to build benchmarks spanning undergrad to Master’s level chemistry.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI model performance.
