Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Chemical Engineer specializing in Environmental Compliance to join our client’s forward-thinking team. The role is fully remote and focuses on ensuring chemical processes meet environmental regulations and sustainability goals.

You will collaborate with operations, legal, and sustainability teams to monitor compliance, implement EMS, conduct impact assessments, and prepare reports for regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance in the chemical industry.
• Knowledge of air emissions, wastewater, and hazardous waste regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations for chemical operations.
• Develop and implement environmental management systems and strategies.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments for new and existing processes.
• Analyze process data to reduce waste and conserve resources.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate virtually with plant operations, legal, and sustainability teams.
