GKN Aerospace is seeking a highly experienced Capture Director to lead the strategy, capture and delivery transition of major opportunities across the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) and related advanced defence programmes.

This remote role, reporting to the Bristol Global Technology Centre, involves regular national and international travel to customer, partner and GKN Aerospace sites to drive funding, technology development and long-term production workshare opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading complex capture campaigns in defence/aerospace.
• Experience securing and delivering large-scale technology development or manufacturing programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute capture strategies for GCAP and Advanced Programmes.
• Lead opportunities from qualification through contract award with reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Manage capture budgets, risks, governance and compliance requirements.
• Oversee transition of won opportunities into programme execution.
