Job summary

A UK-based engineering firm is seeking a self-motivated Land or Utility Surveyor to work remotely in the renewable energy sector. This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary between £30,000 and £40,000 based on experience. The ideal candidate will possess advanced 2D CAD skills and a desire to learn and adapt. A structured training program will help develop practical skills in delivering designs for city-wide heat networks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in land or underground utility surveying.
• Experience in the construction industry (1-3 years).
• No prior experience in District Heating required, training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the Network Design Team through utility tracing in CAD.
• Obtain Utility and Historical OS Maps.
• Implement layering systems with AutoCAD.
