Job summary

Zesty Work in Guildford is seeking a dedicated BIM/CAD Technician to join their smart building team. You will create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models for cabling, security systems and AV layouts, using AutoCAD or Revit to support building projects.

Collaborating with designers, architects and engineers, you will ensure designs meet building codes and standards while coordinating across disciplines and maintaining organized CAD files and project documentation.

Qualifications

• BIM/CAD Technician with experience in smart building projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or Revit and coordinated design workflows.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, cabling and AV layouts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models for building systems using AutoCAD or Revit.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors to meet design requirements.
• Ensure CAD designs comply with codes, safety, and environmental standards and manage project documentation.

They are looking for someone with a great cabling, security systems, and audio-visual design experience. You will create detailed technical drawings and models using BIM technologies and CAD software, work on networking infrastructure, security layouts, and AV systems for commercial and residential environments.
