Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager (area sales) to drive growth across a South territory. The role is home-based with a focus on OEMs and distribution partnerships, delivering approximately £1 million in annual sales.

You will spend time in manufacturing environments, understanding processes, and recommending technically appropriate solutions from our product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical field sales selling industrial consumables and components.
• Experience selling into OEMs and through distributors.
• Ability to manage a territory remotely and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales across the territory with a balanced focus between OEM customers and distribution partners.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to implementation.
• Engage dormant accounts and identify new growth opportunities.
• Conduct site visits to manufacturing facilities to assess applications and provide technical recommendations.
• Support growth within key industrial sectors through distributor collaboration.
