Job summary

Royal London is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business targets from a panel of Intermediaries, with a focus on expanding our reach across the UK financial adviser channel. The role is remote with travel, with a company car or allowance provided.

You will develop strong consultative relationships, champion Royal London's propositions, and work with colleagues to identify profitable opportunities that meet adviser and customer needs while adhering to consumer duty principles.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Financial Services BD.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and manage intermediary networks within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal sales targets from Intermediaries and grow the panel by building strong relationships.
• Champion Royal London's propositions through consultative relationships with external customers.
• Collaborate across the business to maximise profitable new business production and refine propositions.
• Deliver sales presentations to Intermediaries to promote opportunities and broaden reach.
• Be a trusted partner to your panel, ensuring a smooth, efficient sales process aligned with consumer duty principles.
• Identify, measure and monitor risks and controls per RCSA methodology.
• Support central sales campaigns and National Partnership events to maximise new business.
