Building Careers UK Ltd in Warrington is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to plan and deliver maintenance and improvement programmes across a residential portfolio. You will inspect properties, develop specifications and manage contractors to ensure projects meet required standards.

The role covers planned and cyclical works, stock condition surveys, and ensuring compliance with CDM and health and safety rules.

Formación

• Experience as a Building Surveyor in housing or residential property.
• Experience delivering planned works and major repairs.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and construction processes.
• Experience preparing specifications and schedules of work.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Planning and delivering planned and cyclical maintenance programmes.
• Managing works and projects from inception through to completion.
• Preparing specifications and schedules of work for planned improvements and corrective works.
• Carrying out inspections and identifying defects and maintenance requirements.
• Undertaking stock condition surveys and using survey data to inform future maintenance programmes.
• Managing and monitoring contractors to ensure works are delivered to a high standard.
• Establishing and maintaining effective contractor relationships.
• Monitoring the progress and quality of works.
• Carrying out inspections and post-inspections as required.
• Providing technical advice on building maintenance and construction matters.
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with CDM regulations and health and safety requirements
