Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join its Property Services team. This home-based role involves independent work, with frequent travel across North Lancashire and Yorkshire to support capital works and statutory maintenance.

You will provide professional surveying and technical support, managing schemes to time and budget, with a focus on safety compliance and asset management. Degree in construction-related discipline and strong contract administration experience are

Qualifications

• Degree in a construction-related discipline.
• Significant demonstrable surveying experience in housing associations, private practice, local authority, or similar.
• Experience with contract administration including tendering, cost analysis and budget control.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional surveying and technical support, contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of the Asset Management strategy.
• Work independently in supporting the technical service function which provides effective capital investment, cyclical, fire safety and statutory maintenance services, to time and budget.
• Manage and visit schemes across the patch.
