Job summary

Formula E Race Operations in London seeks a Broadcast Technical Manager to serve as the remote technical anchor during race weeks, maintaining high-quality production across 7 language feeds and driving next-gen tech projects in the off-season.

Role includes coordinating multi-language feeds, HDR workflows, and AI transcription tools, with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days in the Hammersmith London office. You will help lead technical innovation within Formula E’s global broadcast ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in broadcast production within Tier 1 sports or federations.
• Experience delivering global events with REMI workflows and remote hub ops.
• Familiarity with multi-language feed management and HDR workflows.

Responsibilities

• Act as central technical/operational contact for Multi-Language Production teams at the Remote Production Centre.
• Allocate, monitor, and troubleshoot remote technical resources and provide engineering support during race weeks.
• Maintain workflow redundancy and rotate locations with the Senior Broadcast Engineer about every third race.
