Job summary

STARK Building Materials UK is seeking a dedicated Bid Writer to produce compelling and compliant proposals primarily from home, with monthly travel to Coventry HQ. You will collaborate with sales, technical and operations teams to articulate our value proposition and improve win rates for public sector opportunities.

The role requires strong written communication, research skills and meticulous attention to detail, plus MS Office proficiency and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous bid writing experience or strong written communication
• Excellent research and interpretation skills
• Editing and proofreading with high attention to detail
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Write and deliver bespoke bids and proposals for public sector opportunities
• Develop and maintain a library of standard responses, case studies, and templates
• Ensure documents meet client specifications, deadlines and compliance
• Collaborate with sales, technical and operations teams for accurate input
• Proofread, format and ensure consistency with brand guidelines
• Analyze tender documents and conduct market research to strengthen proposals
• Maintain confidentiality and manage deadlines effectively
