Job summary

Police Digital Service is recruiting a Business Intelligence Analyst (FTC 12 months) to join the NPCC National Data & Analytics Office. You will build dashboards, reports and metrics to drive measurable outcomes and work with stakeholders, data engineers and analysts to translate needs into analytical products.

The role requires strong Power BI and SQL skills, experience with large datasets, and the ability to communicate insights to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

Demonstrable BI or analytics experience.
Strong SQL and Power BI skills.
Experience analysing large, complex datasets.
Experience communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with cloud analytics platforms and data governance is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance BI reports, dashboards and performance reporting.
Gather, interpret and document business requirements from stakeholders.
Analyse datasets to identify trends, opportunities and improvements.
Monitor usage, engagement, measures and benefits of national data products.
Develop KPIs and performance frameworks aligned to objectives.
Translate data into insights to support decision-making.
Collaborate with BI Developers and Data Engineers to deliver analytical outputs.
Produce high-quality reports, presentations and briefing materials.
