Qualifications

• Experience leading a squad of 3+ software engineers.
• Strong backend engineering experience, ideally Python.
• Proven track record building production-grade APIs with performance in mind.
• Comfortable contributing to systems design and architectural decisions.
• Product-curious: you care that your work reaches users and has an impact.
• Experience with distributed systems or event-driven architectures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a brand-new backend squad driving core revenue in a new geographic territory.
• Own the APIs powering the customer-facing product from problem statement to release.
• Shape how the domain evolves and make architecture decisions.
• Collaborate across product and platform teams to deliver high-throughput services.
