Job summary

Tech4Good Recruitment is seeking a remote backend-focused engineer to help design, build, and evolve scalable platform capabilities for a digital health service. You’ll work across back-end services and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on practical tools and AI-assisted workflows.

The role emphasizes a technology-agnostic approach, leveraging Google Cloud Platform and AI to improve development efficiency and problem-solving while supporting the delivery of digital health services.

Qualifications

• Strong back-end software and/or systems engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Demonstrable interest in AI and use of AI tools to improve engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve scalable back-end services, systems and platform capabilities.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services within a Google Cloud Platform environment.
• Use AI and modern engineering tools to improve development workflows, problem-solving and day-to-day efficiency.
