Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer for a high-velocity contract engagement. You will build a modern, AI-integrated application hosted on Google Cloud Platform, bridging a React/TypeScript frontend with a Python/FastAPI backend.

You will connect Vertex AI Gemini models for data extraction and risk assessment, manage Firestore state, and enable analytics with BigQuery. Remote UK work is supported with enterprise-grade SSO via IAP and Entra ID.

Qualifications

Proficient in React/TypeScript with hands-on backend experience in Python/FastAPI.
Experience deploying serverless applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Familiarity with Vertex AI Gemini models and enterprise SSO integrations.

Responsibilities

Frontend Development: Design and build robust, highly responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
Backend & API Development: Architect and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and the FastAPI framework.
Cloud-Native Deployment: Containerize and deploy frontend and backend services utilizing serverless GCP Cloud Run.
Data Pipelining: Design, deploy, and manage asynchronous data processing pipelines using Cloud Run Jobs.
AI/ML Integration: Connect the application to Vertex AI Gemini models to perform data extraction and risk assessments.
Database Management: Use Firestore for real-time state and BigQuery for analytics workloads.
Security & Authentication: Implement enterprise-grade SSO via Identity-Aware Proxy and Entra ID.
DevOps & CI/CD: Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for GCP deployments.
