Job summary

Third Republic Limited is seeking a Mid Level Backend Developer to join a remote-first team building a modular e-commerce platform. You will leverage Node.js to implement backend features and work within a serverless microservice architecture on AWS.

The role is UK-wide with eventual move to a London base and a twice-monthly office visit. Expect 25+ days of paid leave, private health and dental care, and a pension. Salary up to £60k per year.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience building backend applications using Node.js.
• Experience working in a serverless microservice architecture in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the team building a cutting-edge modular e-commerce platform for 100+ shops.
• Implement an event-driven system that will allow connecting external services in a plug & play fashion.
• Build features for the platform such as a credit system to offer loyalty cards, single-use coupons, or a recurring payments system.
