Job summary

TEKsystems in Reading, UK is seeking an Azure Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing development team. The role is remote with occasional office visits for collaboration and personal development.

You will collaborate with the .NET team to enhance Azure infrastructure, implement IaC and CI/CD pipelines, and focus on monitoring, scaling, and continuous improvement of systems. This is a contract role within a Microsoft-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Azure knowledge and Azure components expertise.
• Bicep experience required.
• Terraform experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft stack in a Microsoft-centric environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the .NET development team to enhance and maintain our Azure infrastructure.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Focus on monitoring, scaling, and continuous improvement of our systems.
• Handle some service-related queries (not a 24/7 on-call role).
• Work on evergreen projects to ensure our technology remains current.
