Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS. You will work across front‑end and back‑end layers, contribute to event‑driven microservices, and support DevOps through CI/CD pipelines.

Required skills include extensive AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, CloudWatch), IaC (CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation), and proficiency in Python/Java/TypeScript. Flexible/remote work options are available.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, CloudWatch).
Proficiency in one or more languages (Python, Java, TypeScript).
Experience with infrastructure as code (AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation).
Solid understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with test-driven development and relevant frameworks.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services.
Develop infrastructure as code using AWS CDK or Terraform/CloudFormation.
Contribute to event-driven microservices architectures and support DevOps processes.
Troubleshoot issues across the stack and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
