Job summary

hireful is seeking an AWS Cloud & Python Engineer to bridge application development and cloud infrastructure in a growing UK-based team. You will own the full lifecycle of data transformation apps, from writing clean Python to designing scalable AWS architectures, in a remote or hybrid setup from the Southwest region.

You will work with an established cloud engineering team on high-performance data solutions, deployment of serverless and containerised workloads, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Proven Python development experience.
• Hands-on AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
• Experience with real-time data transformation and high-volume data streams.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Python apps for real-time decisions and large-scale data transformation.
• Provision and scale secure AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
• Architect cost-efficient, low-latency, high-throughput solutions.
• Deploy serverless and container workloads across Lambda, ECS, EC2, SQS, S3, RDS.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
• Set up CloudWatch and X-Ray monitoring to keep systems running smoothly.
