Job summary

Brio Digital Limited is seeking a Technical Architect for a focused 10‑day remote engagement in the UK to assess the AWS telephony layer behind its AI voice platform. You will define an architecture roadmap for scale, resilience and compliance, and hand over detailed designs to the engineering team.

The role involves reviewing the existing Amazon Connect setup, designing target state architecture, and ensuring secure data handling and integration with clinical systems. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering AWS cloud telephony or contact centre solutions.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Amazon Connect contact flows, routing and numbers.
• Experience streaming real-time audio to downstream services (e.g. Kinesis).
• Solid experience with core AWS services: Lambda, Lex, IAM, CloudWatch, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB.
• Experience designing architectures for sensitive data under UK GDPR.
• Ability to produce clear architecture documentation at pace.
• Confident communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review the existing AWS telephony architecture and Amazon Connect configuration.
• Assess latency, reliability and scaling risks in real-time audio/data flows.
• Design target-state architecture to support growth and new healthcare customers.
• Review security and data handling for patient data, including encryption and retention.
• Define integration patterns with clinical and back-office systems using AWS services.
• Run workshops with engineering and product stakeholders to decide designs.
• Deliver a prioritised recommendations set and an implementation roadmap.
