Job summary

Electrosonic is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover London & South, performing proactive and reactive service and maintenance of AV equipment on customer premises. You will diagnose faults, install projects, and travel as required to ensure high uptime and performance.

The ideal candidate has strong AV/UC system knowledge, hands-on execution, with a full driving licence and willingness to travel. Electrosonic offers development opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation in AV systems including video conferencing, UC, DSP, and audio systems.
• Experience with control systems such as AMX, Crestron, Medialon, Q-Sys, and Alcorn McBride.
• Solid IT and networking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service under pressure.
• Able to work independently with initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical documentation and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults at customer sites, using remote tools where possible and on-site when needed.
• Provide technical remote support for clients and team members.
• Perform preventative maintenance on AV, network, control, and UC equipment on-site.
• Assist with client presentations, conferences, and events, including setup and training.
• Ensure safe, high-quality service and accurate records of work performed.
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional work.
• Coordinate repair or shipment of faulty equipment as required.
• Ensure proper calibration and use of test equipment.
