Placements24 is sourcing a Remote Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst for a pioneer in automotive digital security. This fully remote role protects connected vehicles and systems, monitors security events, analyzes threats, and implements robust defenses from any location.

You will perform vulnerability assessments, collaborate with engineering teams, and help shape secure vehicle software lifecycles while staying current with industry trends and best practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst, preferably automotive/IoT.
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools and protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor automotive networks and systems for security breaches, intrusions, and suspicious activities.
• Analyze security alerts and incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and determine root causes.
• Develop and implement security measures to protect vehicle software, data, and communication channels.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on automotive systems and applications.
• Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies relevant to the automotive industry.
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to integrate security best practices into the vehicle lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner, minimizing impact.
• Participate in threat modeling and risk assessment activities.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of secure automotive systems.
