Job summary

Confidential in London is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to support month-end reporting, financial analysis and controls across multiple entities. Working with the Finance Manager and Group Reporting, you’ll help deliver accurate reporting and identify process improvements within a dynamic, international finance environment.

The role offers exposure to global operations, a supportive team, and development opportunities with modern systems.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent (no more than 6 exams passed).
• 1–3 years’ experience in an Assistant Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant role.
• Strong Excel skills including PivotTables and Lookups.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly P&L analysis and investigate variances.
• Prepare month-end reporting commentary and financial insights.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Support ad-hoc analysis, reporting and finance projects.
• Prepare accruals and prepayments; assist with fixed asset accounting.
• Support purchase ledger activities and cost coding.
• Review outstanding costs and support accurate month-end reporting.
• Contribute to group-wide month-end activities across multiple entities.
• Support external audits and VAT / tax reporting where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting efficiency.
