Job summary

Yorkshire Water is looking for a Remote Asset Planner Water Network 24/7 to join the Service Delivery Centre in Leeds. You will deliver operational excellence across clean water network assets with a focus on health & safety, regulatory compliance and resilience.

You will manage high-priority incidents, escalate quickly, and remotely optimise the network while working with cross-functional teams to ensure 24/7 resilience and superior customer service.

Responsibilities

• Resolve high priority, complex and emergency problems.
• Manage escalation incidents and ensure timely resolution.
• Use technical knowledge to remotely optimise the network.
• Continuously improve processes and ways of working.
• Manage field standby hours in line with Working Time Directive.
• Collaborate with other 24/7 desks to ensure resilience.
• Build strong relationships with operational teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate customer call backs and out-of-hours responses per SLAs.
• Provide support across the Control Room as needed.
• Be environmentally conscious across water cycle elements.
• Monitor and coordinate responses to customer contacts and performance impacts.
• Ensure work is validated, optimised and jeopardy-managed before allocation.
