Motorola Solutions UK Limited is seeking an experienced Application Systems Engineer. You will act as the technical authority for your assigned application, handling complex escalations, deliver deep-root cause analysis, and coordinate with Product Engineering to implement robust fixes.

The role combines hands-on diagnostics with cross-team collaboration, including after-hours on-call shifts. Work location is primarily remote with occasional travel to offices for team collaboration or

Qualifications

• Proven track record resolving complex enterprise software escalations independently.
• Strong ability to diagnose issues with first-principles troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of high-priority technical escalations within your product area.
• Perform deep-dive RCA to identify root causes and drive lasting fixes with Product Engineering.
• Bridge gaps between front-line teams, QA and Product Engineering to validate fixes.
