Trust in SODA is seeking an Android Engineer to own the native Android experience for a fast-growing fintech startup. The role is fully remote within the UK, giving you direct influence on payments, claims and financial services UX.

You will join a live product at scale, shaping how a new UK team works from day one and turning AI-driven ideas into practical features that improve the customer journey.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development with Kotlin and shipped apps.
• Strong knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow and modern Android architecture.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues.
• Strong mobile UX sense and user-flow thinking.
• Able to move fast in a startup environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the native Android experience from the ground up.
• Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys.
• Implement features leveraging AI where it genuinely enhances the user journey.
• Use analytics and production feedback to continuously improve the product.
