About The Opportunity

• Outlier is seeking talented writers fluent in English to help train generative AI models.
• This is a reading and writing-intensive freelance opportunity that is remote and offers flexible hours.

You may contribute by:

• Reading English texts to rank AI responses.
• Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, involving research and fact-checking.
• Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-generated text.

Desired Expertise:

• Professional writing or editing experience.
• Enrolled in or completed a degree in a writing-related discipline.
• Strong writing style, excellent English spelling and grammar, and good reasoning skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to clearly explain strengths and weaknesses.

Payment:

• US rates: $15 to $35 USD per hour.
• UK rates: up to £11 to £27 GBP per hour.
• Rates vary based on expertise, location, project needs, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. Additional phases may have different rates and incentives. Please review specific project payment terms.
