Consortia seeks a Product Owner to build proactive AI-powered applications, owning requirements across model behavior, system behavior, and user experience. You will work with ML and engineering teams to define how the system should behave, its quality metrics and improvements.

The role suits hands-on product professionals with technical judgement, offering broad ownership in a small team; fully remote for UK/US candidates, with direct collaboration on system design and product direction.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience owning complex technical products end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered products, particularly LLM-based systems.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and system design skills.
• Solid understanding of ML systems in production, including limitations and failure modes.
• Experience with model evaluation, experimentation, prompting or AI iteration.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear requirements and executable plans.
• Strong judgement with a collaborative approach in fast-moving environments.
• Hands-on shipping mindset in zero-to-one product development.
• Engineering background is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end requirements for AI capabilities, linking model, system and user experience.
• Translate model results and constraints into clear product decisions and priorities.
• Collaborate with ML, backend and client engineers on design, evaluation and iteration.
• Balance quality, latency, cost, reliability, safety and user experience.
• Define evaluation frameworks using offline metrics, online experiments and feedback.
• Identify hallucinations and failure modes to ensure predictable AI behavior.
• Set quality standards and feedback loops with ownership of correctness and trust.
• Keep roadmaps clear and guide fast, focused iteration with real-world feedback.
