Job summary

Howden is seeking an AI Operations Engineer to provide first-line support for Microsoft Copilot and internal AI tools, helping colleagues with day-to-day AI services from a remote UK base. This entry-level role focuses on handling support requests, logging tickets, and performing basic checks to keep AI services running smoothly.

You will log issues, assist with simple fixes under guidance, and escalate more complex problems to specialist teams, while documenting resolutions for the broader

Qualifications

• 0–1 years’ experience in a support, administrative, or customer-facing role.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft 365 (e.g. Teams, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to help others.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies, particularly in AI.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for users of Microsoft Copilot and internal AI tools.
• Respond to user queries and resolve simple issues in a timely manner.
• Log, track, and update support tickets accurately.
• Perform basic service checks to ensure tools are running as expected.
• Assist with simple fixes and minor updates under guidance.
• Escalate complex issues to senior team members or relevant teams.
