Job summary

Howden Group is seeking a Lead Business AI Engineer to spearhead AI-powered business solutions using Microsoft enterprise tools. You will guide a small team, delivering automation and Copilot-based solutions within the Microsoft 365 environment.

You will combine hands-on low-code problem solving with leadership and delivery oversight to ensure projects meet business needs and quality standards. Remote UK role with strategic impact.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering business automation or AI-based solutions using Microsoft technologies (Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft 365, Azure Foundry).
• Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor technical teams and coordinate delivery in a collaborative environment.
• Strong familiarity with Azure cloud services and the Microsoft 365 platform, in a low-code context.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for stakeholder engagement and solution design.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: lead and mentor a team of AI engineers, allocate work, ensure quality output.
• AI Solution Delivery: oversee development and deployment of AI-driven processes using Microsoft Copilot and related tools.
• Technical Oversight (Low-Code): architect low-code/no-code solutions, guide Copilot orchestrations, unblock teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Product Owners and Solution Architects to align with architecture and strategy.
• Quality & Standards: ensure secure, compliant AI development within Microsoft ecosystem.
