Job summary

FutureSearch is a seed-stage startup focused on AI forecasting, epistemics, and frontier research. Our small, elite team works remotely, with occasional visits to London, SF and Berlin as travel locations.

We seek Research Scientists who excel at rapid, pragmatic research, with a strong mathematical/CS background, and who can connect research outcomes to product deliverables while collaborating closely with a startup team.

Qualifications

• A background in math, physics, CS, or an equivalent quantitative field.
• Currently studying modern AI systems, and deeply curious about the future of AI.
• Comfortable taking ambiguous open problems and making concrete progress quickly.
• Strong proficiency with coding agents to handle experiments and productionizing results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct breakthrough research on AI forecasting, research, and epistemics.
• Develop benchmarks, datasets, and tasks to evaluate AI systems.
• Communicate findings and connect research to product and customer deliverables.
