Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media as freelance contributors. Work remotely in the United Kingdom with a flexible schedule and no minimum hours.

As an Outlier Expert, you will rate and explain AI outputs, compare images and videos to prompts, and provide written feedback. Payments are issued weekly, with potential additional incentives based on project performance.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to look and listen closely, including replaying or zooming in when something seems off.
• Able to think on your feet and explain yourself clearly in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy or audio-visual mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
